People often think of the youngest child in the family as the baby as if that were a particular Birth Order personality. It is not.
The youngest in the family can be of any Birth Order except a First Born. To have a First Born requires a Second Born so the youngest child cannot be a First Born.
The youngest child can be a Second, Third or Fourth Born if that is the number of children in the family. The youngest child can be an Only if this child is the fifth child. Age difference with the Fourth Born does not matter.
Because of exceptions the youngest child may not have the personality dictated by the numbers. It is always best to determine personality by characteristics rather than rely on the numbers. The numbers are just a beginning indicator.
