A mother under stress when her oldest child is around two years of age can create a Birth Order personality in her child that is not First Born. This means the oldest child can be Second, Third or Fourth because of the mother's interaction with the child.
The Birth Order created in the child depends not only on Mother's Birth Order but also on the sex of the child. If the child is a boy he takes on the same Birth Order as Mother's. If the child is a girl she takes on the next Birth Order following Mother's.
With a Second Born mother the daughter becomes Third Born in personality. With a Third Born mother the daughter takes on the Fourth Born personality. The effect does not seem to happen with a First Born mother. Remember that for this to happen the mother has to be stressed out by a bad marriage, dire financial circumstances or an extreme situation.
The Second Born mother under stress produces Second Born in her son, a Third Born mom produces Third Born and a Fourth Born mom produces Fourth Born in her son.
The rest of the children will follow in order. For example, if the oldest is a Third Born the next child will be a Fourth Born.

Actually, it does. You have a primary Birth Order - Third Born - but you also have a secondary Birth Order - Third Born! If your father was Third Born also you'd be a "pure" Third Born. Fathers can add to their children's Birth Orders though they usually do not have enough contact to create a specific Birth Order like moms do.

Your father was probably an Only Child - there is a natural attraction between Second and Only that causes them to marry each other. If your father was an Only that gave you some Only secondary so that you like to be creative in an organized way.

I don't remember the question. The answer is dealing with secondary Birth Order personality that comes from parents. It's complex but it follows definite rules. A child gets the same Birth Order as the parent of the opposite sex for secondary. A child will get the next Birth Order secondary following the Birth Order of the parent of the same sex. In the case of an Only Child the child will get the same Birth Orders as both father and mother. A child will get Only Child from either parent who is an Only.

This seems unlikely. It might be that your mother is Third Born rather than Second Born. That would give you secondary Third Born.
